1. Who We Are

Reservolt is an Australian business selling home and portable power backup equipment. We currently sell only to customers located within Australia, and we do not ship internationally.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a legally binding contract to place an order with us. By placing an order, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you're authorised to use the payment method provided.

3. Products and Pricing

  • All prices are listed in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST unless stated otherwise.
  • We make reasonable efforts to display product colours, dimensions, and specifications accurately, but slight variations from supplier images can occur.
  • We reserve the right to change prices, descriptions, or availability of any product at any time without notice, though this won't affect orders already confirmed.
  • Because some items are shipped directly from our suppliers' warehouses, stock availability shown on the Site reflects supplier data and may occasionally be out of date. If an item you've ordered becomes unavailable, we'll contact you with the option of a substitute, a delay, or a full refund.

4. Orders and Acceptance

Placing an order is an offer to buy, which we may accept or decline. We may decline or cancel an order for reasons including but not limited to: suspected fraud, pricing or listing errors, stock unavailability, or an inability to verify shipping/delivery details. If we cancel an order after payment, you'll receive a full refund.

5. Payment

Payment is processed securely at checkout through our payment provider(s). We do not store your full card details. You authorise us to charge the payment method provided for the full order total, including any applicable shipping costs.

6. Shipping and Delivery

  • We currently ship within Australia only.
  • Because our products contain lithium batteries, they are classified as dangerous goods for freight purposes. This can affect delivery timeframes and, for larger units, may require a signature or a scheduled delivery window.
  • Estimated delivery timeframes are provided in good faith based on supplier and carrier information but are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by the carrier, customs, weather, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
  • Risk in the goods (responsibility for loss or damage) passes to you on delivery. Title (ownership) passes once we've received full payment.
  • It's your responsibility to provide an accurate delivery address. We're not responsible for orders sent to an incorrect address you've provided.

7. Warranties

Products sold by Reservolt are covered by the manufacturer's own warranty, the terms of which are provided by the manufacturer (not by Reservolt) and vary by product and brand. Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (see Section 9).

8. Returns and Refunds

Returns and refunds are handled under our separate [Return Policy], which forms part of these Terms. Please refer to that page for full details, including timeframes and non-returnable items.

9. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL, including the right to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. To the extent any liability can lawfully be limited, our liability is limited, at our option, to replacing the goods, supplying equivalent goods, repairing the goods, or paying the cost of doing so.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to Section 9:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss (including loss of income, data, or business opportunity) arising from your use of the Site or purchase of our products.
  • We are not liable for damage, injury, or loss arising from improper installation, use, or storage of a product contrary to the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, except where a higher liability is required by law (including under the ACL).

11. Product Safety

Our products involve mains power and lithium battery technology. You agree to install, charge, and use all products strictly in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and any applicable Australian electrical safety standards. Reservolt is not liable for damage or injury resulting from unauthorised modification, improper installation, or use inconsistent with the manufacturer's guidance. If a product arrives damaged or appears faulty, stop using it immediately and contact us.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, and product descriptions — is owned by or licensed to Reservolt and may not be copied, reproduced, or used commercially without our written permission. Manufacturer trademarks and product images remain the property of their respective owners.

13. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use the Site to: violate any law; infringe our or a third party's intellectual property; transmit malicious code; attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems; or engage in fraudulent payment activity.

14. Third-Party Links and Services

The Site may link to third-party websites (such as manufacturer or carrier sites) that we don't control. We're not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party sites.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time you place an order will apply to that order. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
